Rwanda's Goals at COP31
At COP31, Rwanda will:
- Climate Finance: Advocate for predictable, accessible and adequate climate finance, particularly grants and concessional resources for adaptation and resilience.
- NDC 3.0 Implementation: Advance implementation of Rwanda’s NDC 3.0 by mobilising investment, technology and capacity support across priority sectors, including energy, agriculture, transport, waste, industry and forestry.
- Article 6 and Carbon Markets: Strengthen Rwanda’s position in high-integrity carbon markets through implementation of its Article 6 framework and engagement with potential partners and investors.
- Climate and Nature Investment: Showcase Rwanda’s climate and nature investment opportunities, including climate-smart agriculture, biodiversity finance, green public financial management, urban resilience and industrial decarbonisation.
